CPI Aerostructures strikes military deal

CPI Aerostructures said Wednesday it was awarded a $114 million contract to provide the U management with five engine nose hood assemblies for its E-3A Airborne Early Warning aircraft.

The E-3A is used primarily by dint of the United States and NATO to discover impending danger and perform electronic jamming functions.

"This of recent origin award represents the second tread in the steps of on order we have received for this assembly, bringing the total number of hoods ordered to 23," said Edward Fr the company's chief executive, in a pres release.

CPI (AMEX: CVU) shares lay opened Wednesday at $4.40
