One step closer

sum of two units basic routes through Rose Hill necropolis have started to dominate conversation upon the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail's potential entrance into the historic burial-ground

One hugs the back of the graveyard near the railroad tracks. Another makes a beeline from the back to the brow entrance.

In the couple cases, the trail would go into the city-owned cemetery from Spring public way near the bottom on the Confederate burial area.

From there single option, called the green option, takes a more scenic path running closer to the river and passing a certain number of of Rose Hill's most famous memorials including that of Simri Rose the cemetery's designer.

The other, called the gold option, heads up the hill and on the outside Rose Hill's main gate. Then it revolves right and continues toward Riverside burial-ground through a pair of alleys that move swiftly between Rose Hill and houses and businesses that forehead Riverside Drive.
