Warfighter team challenge 2005The 2005 Warfighter competition rapped up upon the morning of 5 September as the 95th Military Police Battalion team on the outside of Mannheim, Germany, finished in first place. Following closely behind were teams from the 526th Military Police Company from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and the 519th Military Police Battalion from Fort Polk Louisiana, in next to the first and third place, respectively. This year's competition was generally considered the greatest in quantity challenging to date. The Regiment's Warfighters verily earned their titles this year, with occurrences that pushed the physical and mental limits of all the elite competitors. The weather spanned a wide range of conditions, skyrocketing into the 90 upon Friday and plunging into the rainy 50 upon Saturday and Sunday. The terrain included mountains and rivers, and nap was nonexistent.
