OUR VISION OF FAMILY HAS BEEN EXPANDED. From the ashes of the World Trade Center the Pentagon, and that field in Pennsylvania arose a of recent origin spirit of unity. We realize that we are all part of the family of America. That's for what cause [i]or[/i] reason every story we've heard of escape and despair, of death and courage, has mov us thus Because each of us knows those stories are our hold Lost mothers, friends, husbands, sons--any single of them could have been us. And was us. Each life was important. They were our family.

This month we advance to honor family and all its extensions--brothers-in-law...half sisters...cousins...daughters...godchildren...all of us. Because we knew level before September II that the real definition of family--connection, trust, support, unconditional love--is what we yearn for and ne to have feeling complete. Everybody needs somebody to number on, no matter what. Whoever that is, they are your family. each phone call home to say "I regard with affection you, I may not make it on the outside but you're the person I'm thinking of" was a tribute to this greatest in quantity sacred of human bonds.

That link is more important now than at any time before, because we're all abundant more aware of what we ne to create deeper meaning in our lives.
