Italy's Northern League party has not absented a bill to castrate convicted rapists. It proposes a method of non-surgical, chemical castration. The bill was written by dint of the far-right party in reply to a recent string of rapes committed through immigrants. Because of the Northern League's anti-immigration stance, many Italian lawmakers view the bill as xenophobic, and are not wait fored to pass it into law.

In Kenya, parliament members also discussed castration as a [i]modus operandi[/i] of punishment for convicted rapists. Rape has lately become the country's most repeatedly committed crime. They unanimously passed a motion opening the way for a of recent origin Sexual Offences Bill to be introduced. This bill, along with chemical castration as punishment for rapists, includes women's rights to refuse marriage proposals, fight sexual harassment in the workplace, put away genital mutilation and prosecute rape.
