China: sexual harassment soon to be outlawedBEIJING-New sex equity laws state for the first time that equal rights for women are part of state policy. The fresh law "prohibits sexual harassment of women" and gives women recourse to hut complaints. The acknowledgment of sexual harassment as a serious question at issue in China prompted the change. 79 percent of Chinese women report having experienced sexual harassment.
