Egypt, Israel & US Sign QIZ Accord; Exports To American Market Will Be Duty Free.

Egypt and Israel upon Dec. 14 agreed a rare trade/industrial co-operation deal. The sum of two units states and the US signed a protocol to plant up seven Qualified Industrial belts (QIZs), where goods would gain independent access to US markets provided that 35% of their inputs draw nears from co-operation between Egyptian and Israeli companies - these constitute an advanced pace towards a free trade pact between the US and Egypt The QIZs agreement draw nears amid a remarkable change of temper between Egypt and Israel.
