A business case for increasing college mental health services: increasing counseling services can increase student retention rates--and ultimately a college's bottom line.

College students' mental health enigmas have gained academic administrators' attention in novel years. Last year, a large-scale close attention of more than 13,000 pupils at Kansas State University revealed that students' mental health puzzles have increased in severity during a 13-year period, confirming what many community counseling center professionals had suspected. (1) The application of mind concluded that more students are bringing more relentless problems to their counselors.
