This research extends a previous experiment (Earley 2001) showing in what way a "self-explanation" training intervention promot learning in an auditing connected thought [i]or[/i] thoughts A causal model is propos to examine the consequence of providing outcome feedback (i.e., the correct answer) prior to or after self-explaining upon the level of reasoning exhibited in self-explanations, and then the event of level of reasoning upon performance.
