I just wanted to make notes on the farsightedness and practical wisdom brought without in "Wall Street can be detrimental to your bottom line" (September, p 12) I have witnessed the damage caused by dint of large corporations quick to "dump" valuable human resources rather than address short-term downturns with long-term improvements. The tragedy is that the chops are typically done indiscriminately, and a great deal of of the valuable talent goe right without the door. Employee morale sinks to the bottom, and productivity is missing
