On Nov. 22 1995 Randy Peck and sum of two units of his Michigan co-workers were trying to load a 150-lb metal tube into a lathe. individual of the men accidentally activated the machine and Peck's hand was caught in the lathe and seriously injured. Peck filed a yield liability suit against Bridgeport Machine Inc., the vender of the lathe, and ROMI Co the manufacturer, claiming the machine was
