2000 machine tool consumption detains pace with 1999
December machine tool consumption totaled an estimated $514 million according to the AMT -- The Association For Manufacturing Technology and AMTDA, the American Machine Tool Distributors' Association.
Compared to the revised estimate for November, sales were up 217% on the contrary sales were down 4.9% when compared to December of last year. With a year-to-date total comput at $59 billion, 2000 is up 08% when compared to the same period in 1999
