A fresh spin on securing vises

My idea is a simple mechanical device for preventing a drill-press vise from spinning. This possessor leaves the operator free to use single hand for the drill-press fe handle and the other to make go round off the motor.

I drill and tap a 1/2-in. perforation in the outside face of a vise's fixed jaw. In the drill pres table at the external end, I drill and ream a perforation to fit a short, vertical pillar that is threaded at the bottom for a nut and washer.
