Carbide inserts make first appearance
Quartec carbide indexable milling inserts are now available from Walter Waukesha Inc., Waukesha, Wis. They advance in three new geometries -- D56 F56 and G56 -- for a number of machining conditions and feature fresh cutting edges, substrates, and coatings that resist wear and increase tool life.
