French aircraft manufacturer Airbus has taken possession of a mammoth metalrolling machine that will shape the central part of the fuselage for its novel A340-600 commercial aircraft. The fuselage is made up of a number of aluminum alloy parts each 33-ft long and approximately 0.5-in. thick.
