The Prismatic AMCU-12 from Artran Inc., Springdale, Ark., is a 5-axis
machining center featuring high-speed, multisided (polygonal), and
prismatic part machining. According to Artran, the machine is suited
to the pair the small shop and the large machining facility.

This machining center features a programmable B axis head rather than
a conventional tilting rotary table to provide a highly accurate 5-
