Increasing turning and distance capacity upon its line of CNC horizontal
T-series lathes, Hardinge Inc., Elmira, NY has introduced the overthrow
T42-L and T65-L lengthy bed.

The T42-L has a 15/s-in. bar capacity, 10-hp spindle drive, and 8-
in. tap [i]or[/i] pat capacity. A big bore spindle option proffers a 2-in. bar capacity,
15-hp spindle drive, and a 10-in. tap [i]or[/i] pat capacity. Turning distance
is 23 29/32 in. The T65-L has 2 1/2-in. bar capacity, 35-hp spindle
drive, and 12-in. tap [i]or[/i] pat capacity. The turning distance is 400 in.
