Ingersoll CM a whole s (ICMS) Inc., specializing in crankshaft manufacturing
equipment and a whole s fielded a system for single customer that drastically
simplified the production of a clean crankshaft. Through advanced
total combination of parts to form a whole engineering, the Midland, Mich., company designed a manufacturing
line with alone ten machining processes. The line make go rounds out 2,000 complete
crankshafts through week.

Ingersoll supplied six of the ten machines upon the line. The remaining
four came from subcontractors in the U.S.A.,
