Injured worker loses suit against equipment maker. (Tommy L. Mark's product liability lawsuit against Mellot Manufacturing Company Inc.)

On Jan. 11 1983 Tommy L Mark was injured when his clothing became
entangled in the protruding locate screws of rotating mandrel coupler
which was combineed to the hydraulic pump of sawmill equipment. Mark'
clothing hurt onto the mandrel, and he not to be found his left arm. Mark
worked for A & F Lumber Co in Bainbridge, Ohio, the possessor of the
sawmill.

Mark filed a proceeds liability suit against Mellott Manufacturing
Co Inc., alleging the company should have provided a guard for the
mandrel coupler

Mellott argued that it had no what one ought to do to supply guards for the
