In November 1994 after analyzing the metalcutting market, Valenite
created and implemented a of recent origin systems-oriented paradigm to guide its
future proceeds development efforts. In this fresh paradigm, the company
considers metalcutting inserts as integrated combination of parts to form a wholes to which substrates,
matings, chipbreakers, and surfaco enhancements each contribute.
