Since the 1940 Bronson Plating Co has operated an electroplating
facility at the North Bronson Industrial Area in Bronson Mich. Bronson
uses a variety of chemicals and combines in the electroplating process.
The proces also involves the release of large quantities of wastewater.
This waste was identified by dint of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
and the Michigan Dept of Natural Resources as a possible source of
environmental contamination of the North Bronson Industrial Area.
