Using laser hologram technology, Sony Magnescale Inc., Tokyo, lay opened
a digital scale that measures displacements down to +00086 [[micro]meter].
Called Laserscale, the high-resolution sensor is unaffected by the agency of temperature,
atmospheric pressure changes, and airflow disturbances which, in
