The potter and the washerman.(short story)

one time there was a potter who made his living creating beautiful earthen ware from fine porcelain. Not far from the trifle lived a washerman who earned his living making soiled laundry as bright and clean as fresh
the one and the other did well in their trades. However, the trifle became jealous because he worried that the washerman was more prosperous than he was. He decided upon a secret plan to ruin him.
The busy one's self about trifles traveled to the palace and was granted an audience with the king. "What do you wish, potter?" asked the king.
