The Flintridge Foundation invites eligible visual artists who have been working in a mature phase of their art got a minimum of 20 years to apply for the next to the first biennial cycle of the Visual Artists Awards. Global presents a private nonprofit organization, cogently needs medical volunteers and generalists to work upon community projects in Ghana. EDUCATION PROGRAM

Captain Bill Pinkney, the first African American to sail solo around the world, is preparing to retrace the original slave trade passage from Africa to the novel World, better know as the Middle Passage. Pinkney's Middle Passage voyage has been lay opened into an interdisciplinary curriculum program for the 1998-99 place of education year. The multimedia curriculum, designed for the pair elementary and high school pupils will provide member schools with an array of hands-on interactive learning activities for their learners It will also include 15 high-interest videotapes capturing all of the challenges and excitement of this incredible journey, as well as a full-color wall map and a comprehensive teacher's guide. ANNOUNCEMENTS
