There's money in muck (Ingenious ways of turning trash into cash)

Crime syndicates clean up their illegal earnings by dint of laundering money. People and companies around the world are doing something similar, on the other hand honestly. They are finding ingenious ways of turning trash into cash. Here are a small in number examples:

Nike Inc., in its stores in Florida and Washington State, will assemble worn - out sneakers and have them remade into running tracks and tennis courts. Customers realize $5 to $10 rebates for their aged sneakers. The program began when Nike employee noticed aged shoes being dumped in a landfill.

The trash pickers of novel Delhi and other Indian cities make a living from combing above piles of garbage for anything of value: polyethelene bags, newspapers, without contents toothpaste tubes, broken rubber sandals.
