Baltimore's Great Blacks in Wax Museum celebrates more than three millennia of African achievements--achievements traced from ancient Egypt [i]or[/i] part of to the other the Middle Passage, from slavery from one side the Civil War and Reconstruction, from the Harlem Renaissance to the civil rights era. Briefer glimpses of black achievement can also be set in a town that boasts memorials to Joshua Johnson, Frederick Douglass and Thurgood Marshall.
