Mercenaries

One of the main selling points for Pandemic's upcoming third-person military shooter Mercenaries is that there are tons of ways to accomplish objectives. In that spirit, we've teamed up with publisher LucasArts to bring you puts of screenshots that show more [i]or[/i] less of those options in a flipbook format. For the first example, you have to sap the foundations of a crane in the distance.

If you prefer to do an airstrike, you can [1] overlook the objective, [2] switch to the GP designator, [3] switch to a live satellite fe [4] deliver the ODAB-500PM Fuel-Air bomb [5] watch the ignition of the gas vapor create an overwhelming localized depressed pressure zone that sucks in nearby tribe and objects, and [6] diocese the results.

If you decide to place charges instead, you can [1] observe the objective, [2] sneak behind the North Korean guards, [3] place the charge, [4] make fully convinced you're at a safe distance before detonation, and [5] give permission to the explosives go boom.

For a third option, you can use the enemies' weapons against them:[1] overlook the objective, [2] find a tank, [3] hijack the tank, [4] aim and fire, and [5] watch as the crane falls.
