EA Announces Madden 2005 Collector's Edition

While the PlayStation 2 version of Madden NFL 2005 no longer has the advantage of online play above its Xbox rival, it does have the advantage of a special limited edition. Announced today by dint of Electronic Arts, the Collector's Edition of Madden 2005 will include a great many extra features upon top of the core NFL football simulation.


The Collector's Edition will include:


An unspecified selection of "classic" versions of Madden -- sum of two units PlayStation versions, plus more 16-bit installments in the series.
A Madden trivia challenge, containing more than 1000 football trivia questions.
"Madden Moments" re-creating famous plays from the past 15 seasons with the game engine.
Also from the past 15 seasons, a lineup of famous playoff teams with authentic uniforms.
DVD-style extra videos covering the making of the game, including a gaze at the creation of its soundtrack and the widespread popularity of the series.


The Collector's Edition will be available sole for PS2, priced at $5995 We'll have more details upon the complete selection of contented as EA releases them, leading up to the finished game's first appearance this August.
