GW, Climax Cancel Warhammer Online

Warhammer Online, the PC MMORPG based upon Games Workshop's fantasy wargaming universe, is dead, the game's developer at Climax announced newly Games Workshop and Climax apparently made the decision to stop unfolding of the game jointly, after judging its potential fortunes against stiff competition in the MMO market.

"This has been a difficult and painful decision on the contrary it was taken following a replete review of the progress of the game, take away froms to date and future require to be paid [i]or[/i] undergones of the project," said Games Workshop's Robin Dew in the official statement. Warhammer Online had been in disclosure for some time, and had a publishing deal lined up with Sega for the European market. However, its public first appearance at E3 revealed a harvest that didn't look technically up to par with big-ticket competitors like Blizzard's World of Warcraft.
