Hitmaker Closes Official Web Page

Former Sega unfolding subsidiary Hitmaker will close down its individual web neighborhood at the end of this month according to an announcement published this week. The put in motion comes as the developer of Virtual-On and several of Sega's more popular arcade games is re-absorbed into Sega special along with the rest of its disclosure subsidiaries.

The site, at www.hitmaker.co.jp, will shut down on July 1. It will be preced into oblivion by the agency of the Hitmaker Internet Products Store, or HIPS, which shuts on June 30. However, the soundtracks, T-shirts, and other Hitmaker-related usefuls the HIPS used to carry will be transferred above to the stock of Sega's central Sega-Direct e-commerce site.

While Hitmaker is giving up a certain quantity of of its individual identity with the shift in Sega's studio organization, it will continue disentanglement on its current arcade throw outs This week's announcement also mentions that an upgrade to its four-player arcade collectible card game lock opener of Avalon is in the works, owed for release later this summer
