Miyamoto and Aonuma Talk New Zelda

At a pres roundtable occurrence Wednesday evening, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma discussed and answered questions about the of recent origin Zelda game revealed in video form at Nintendo's pres conversation Tuesday.

The main piece of information they talked up is that Link is now abundant older and the game must mirror that in various ways -- they are working to make the rules more appropriate for a grown up Link, as oppos to the simplified direction scheme used in The Wind Waker, and they are also working upon ways to express the character of Link differently as a teenager.

Miyamoto stated that there are sum of two units reasons they decided to make a game with an older Link: because a doom of fans want them to, and because it is a way to provide a unique Zelda game for the GameCube. Making a Zelda game in the same turn of expression as The Wind Waker would not be actual unique, so they chose an art mode of expression similar to that of Ocarina of Time.

One of the main features revealed in the trailer video is that Link can attack while upon horseback, which is a feature Miyamoto has wanted to including in a Zelda game since working upon Ocarina of Time. According to Miyamoto, this is another way Link has matured.

During the question and answer part of the presentation, Aonuma confirmed that the game will be available in playable form at nearest year's E3, since only a video was shown this year, allowing apparently the video was deposit together using entirely in-game footage. The Q&A portion also revealed that Nintendo plans to release the game in 2005 -- not a specific date, on the other hand more specific than the company stated previously. Given that the game will be playable at E3 2005 it's a safe bet that the game will approach out in the latter half of the year.

To shut out the event, Aonmua jok about wanting to include voices in the game, on the other hand proving Aonuma's comments were in a joking manner, Miyamoto stated that he doesn't want Link talking.
