Tony Hawk's Underground 2

As wait fored Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is upon display at E3 this year. Also as wait fored it looks pretty tight. subterraneous 2 isn't the radical departure we got in the original subterraneous but Neversoft has a allotment more mayhem on tap for the continuation

Underground 2, subtitled "World Destruction Tour," builds another story-driven campaign around the traditional skating action. It'll apparently be flat further removed from the configuration of the first four Tony Hawks, admitting so much so that there's an entirely separate "Classic Mode" for players who still be delighted with the old style. Its horizontals have the usual letter-collecting and tape-fetching goals, and the trailer displays glimpses of what look like a certain quantity of classic Hawk 2 and Hawk 3 horizontals

Over in the main manner the story moves beyond the "pro skater is born" piece of ground from the original Underground. The theme is Team Bam (as in Margera) v Team Hawk upon a world tour of skating and antisocial behavior, thus expect lots of Jackass-style humor in the cinematics.

The dormant subterraneous 2 display

Part of the story involves recruiting of recent origin characters to join your chosen team, since now you're established upon the pro circuit. There are more than 20 potential hangers-on to bring upon board, spread across the international cities upon the tour. Some are relatively sane (the white-uniformed milk delivery man), a certain quantity of are a little out there (some stay in a matador costume), and a certain quantity of are pretty whacko (three-foot-high alien, keg-packing beer salesman, giant fat shore in briefs).

There are novel controls and techniques for one as well as the other skateboarding and casual vandalism. If you just want to pluck big tricks, there's a novel "focus mode," which can moderate down the action at lock opener moments to fit in more trick inputs. For wrecking raw material you can slap stickers upon the walls, paint custom graffiti tags, and lob heavy things at passers-by (which brings to mind fulness of warped potential level goals).

As for those horizontals they look big. Really big. subterraneous 2 is to Underground as subterraneous was to Hawk 4 (and Hawk 4 was to Hawk 3 for that matter, continuing the sweep in stupid huge levels back another generation). procure plenty of air from a great height and you can diocese that some stages have entire skateparks occupying just a fraction of their space, like individual city block among several. And you can always make your possess levels as well. subterraneous 2 has the same options for satisfied creation as Underground, including stages, characters, tricks, and goals, plus a novel mode for designing graffiti tags with a weft editor similar to the adorn editor in Underground.

Underground 2 isn't playable at E3 not level for the working press, for a like reason we'll have to wait and diocese what it feels like in action -- the online style is another question mark as at the same time Tony Hawk is moderately beautiful reliable when it comes to spot-on commands though, so expect good things one time we play it later this year.
