EA Announces New TimeSplitters 3 Details

The third game in the TimeSplitters series will diocese release early next year for all three cheers Electronic Arts announced today. The novels of a GameCube version races encouragingly counter to earlier reports that the game wwas in unfolding solely for PlayStation 2 and Xbox


Called TimeSplitters: subsequent time Perfect, the new game will feature an expanded story put between 1914 and 2401, as the hard-bitten space pilot Cortez fights to discover the origins of the TimeSplitters and stop their plat to destroy humanity. As he travels end time, he'll meet up to three different alternate versions of himself, although the game luckily doesn't disburse much time trying to work without the paradoxes involved.


The multiplayer portion of the game includes a two-player cooperative fashion for the entire campaign, plus four-player split-screen deathmatch upon Xbox and GameCube, and 16-player online games upon PlayStation 2. All versions of the game will include a detailed of recent origin map-maker feature, and the PlayStation 2 version will give permission to players share original deathmatch maps online.
