Nintendo Heads Talk DS

At a pres roundtable occurrence Wednesday evening, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, Hideki Konno, and Takashi Tezuka spoke about Nintendo's latest portable hardware, the Nintendo D Miyamoto kicked not on the presentation by clearing up a rumor not many people believed in the first place: that he had a heart enigma and was leaving Nintendo. He said this is far from authentic and he is happy and working hard, laughing at the rumor as he spoke

Miyamoto did the majority of the speaking, notwithstanding that Konno mentioned he worked upon Metroid Prime Hunters, Nintendogs, and Mario for D while Tezuka said he worked upon many of the DS tech demos

Miyamoto made many general remarks about the DS, noting that its wireless connection support is an evolv version of the connectivity between Game lad Advance and GameCube. Nintendo apparently learned its exercise with the difficulty and expensive price of getting all the technology together for games that used the GBA/GC connectivity, for a like reason the DS does wireless connections. There has been no official word upon if DS will connect to the GameCube, admitting with the Game Boy Advance slot upon the DS, it seems like it may already exist in a certain quantity of form.

Talking about the longitudinal dimensions of the DS games upon display at the convention, Miyamoto claimed the company decided to make them all short with equal reason they could be experienced by means of as many people as possible at the present to view and that this short extent should not be a question with the final released products

In the question and answer session, Tezuka confirmed that the final name for the Nintendo D (which is a tentative title) will not have the terminus "Game Boy" in it, and Miyamoto told the audience not to worry about the stylus causing scratches upon the screen. Miyamoto also mentioned that he likes playing Wario Ware D with a cotton swab, which could be a device players might want to use as a backup if they let slip through the fingers their stylus.
