Pyro Studios Developing Imperial Glory

After taking a bit of time not on following the release of Commandos 3 Spanish developer Pyro Studios has another PC strategy game in the works. Imperial Glory not absents challenges on a slightly larger scale than the developer's earlier efforts, and shifts the pageant back to the struggles for hegemony in late 19th-century Europe


Players are given extensive direction over one of the five great powers of the era: Great Britain, France, Russia, Prussia, and Austria-Hungary. The game is divided between the management of the nation at dwelling -- trade, research, resource gathering, diplomacy -- and realtime warfare abroad, with 3D battles upon land and sea taking place in real time in environments put around the globe.


"Imperial Glory will tender an unrivalled, absorbing gameplay experience in the strategy genre" said Pyro's Íñigo Vinós. "Our overall aim has been to tender incredible depth and detail, on the other hand at the same time make secure the game is accessible to all players."
