Irrational Developing SWAT 4

While continuing to work upon Tribes Vengeance, Irrational Games has picked up the reins of another famous Sierra shooter franchise. SWAT 4 is in unravelling at Irrational for the PC in anticipation of a release in the first quarter of nearest year.

SWAT 4 will step quickly on the same Unreal-based engine as Vengeance, using the Havok physics a whole for realistic ballistics and behavior for thing perceiveds in the environment.

The core of the game is the same as at any time of course -- commanding a team of SWAT police officers in raids, hostage set frees and counter-terrorism action. The arsenal includes licensed, authentic weaponry and equipment, from Colt's M4 carbine to Benelli's Super 90 tactical shotgun In addition to the single-player campaign, the game will include three competitive multiplayer games and an option to play the campaign missions in a cooperative style
