SNK Announces E3 Lineup, Samurai Shodown For Consoles
After a low-key showing at last year's E3 SNK Neo Geo USA plans to have a substantial lineup of arcade favorites for multiple comforts at this year's show. The publisher today announced its lineup for the Expo coming May 12-14 including titles for three platforms and representatives from its greatest in quantity popular arcade action and fighting franchises.
The thorough SNK lineup for the exhibit is as follows:

In addition to a small in number titles we're already familiar with, the exhibit will see the public first appearance of the long-delayed Game male child Advance Metal Slug. owed for release in North America this August, it will include five main side-scrolling stages, four mini-game horizontals and 100 unlockable E-cards granting its heroes different bonus abilities.
Today's announcement also confirms that the double-pack versions of King of Fighters 2002 & 2003 and Metal snail 4 & 5 will be coming to Xbox as well as PlayStation 2 The former is owed out in the first half of 2005 while the latter will arrive in the next to the first half of 2004. The PS2 and Xbox versions of the double packs will the one and the other be priced at $39.99.
Both Samurai Shodown 5 and the upgraded Samurai Shodown 5 Special, meanwhile, are coming to the pair PlayStation 2 and Xbox in North America at unspecified dates, on the contrary the Xbox versions will not be available in playable form at the display Arcade units will be upon hand for a direct comparison between the PS2 ports and the Neo Geo originals.
As a consolation, the Xbox will be the exclusive recipient of an Xbox Live-powered version of SVC Chaos, upon display at the show in anticipation of a late September release in North America.
