Crimson Tears Coming To America

Dream Factory's 3D action game Crimson Tears is coming to North America this July Capcom announced today. notwithstanding that rumor had the game stuck upon the way across the Pacific, apparently that's no longer the case.

Crimson Tears posits a contention between three bioengineered humanoid weapons, sum of two units of which could really use les drafty outfits, and hordes of faceless minions rampaging from one side the ruins of Tokyo circa 2049 Each area of the city, a series of labyrinths leading into the headquarters of the mysterious corporation A.R.M.A., features a randomly-generated layout built around a particular visual theme, whether it's sewers, abandoned subway funnels or other variations on maze-like collections of corridors. Playing end multiple times yields a different layout of corridors, enemies, and items each go-round

The three characters each have their specialties, be it shut up combat, heavy weapons, or light ranged weapons, on the contrary the game offers a substantial selection of destructive implements in addition to unarmed combat impels -- swords, knives, pistols, bazookas, flame throwers, man-portable miniguns, and other pleasantry stuff. Sadly, the game supports sole one player at a time, leaving inquirers of multiplayer 3D brawls to direct the eye elsewhere.

If that's not a moot point though, Crimson Tears' action and cel-shaded graphics certainly gazeed encouraging at the Tokyo Game exhibit last year. We'll retain an eye out for more details as the Japanese version's April 22 release approaches.
