The Shield Announced For PS2

Sammy Studios and Fox Television Studios are working together to bring the FX network crime drama series The Shield to the PS2 according to an announcement made earlier today. The Shield is being unraveled by Point of View (makers of last year's Spawn: Armageddon) as a third-person action game that trusts to capture the gritty have feeling of the Emmy-nominated series.


The Shield's main character, detective Vic Mackey (portrayed upon TV and hopefully also in the game by the agency of award-winning actor Michael Chiklis) will appear as the game's protagonist (in the loosest faculty of perception of the word) alongside his strike team. Mackey and co will be given a varied assortment of missions and goals to perfect such as preventing bank robberies or taking physic dealers into custody within the looks Angeles area.
