Dead Or Alive Ultimate Delayed

Dead or Alive Ultimate, the upcoming Xbox Live-enabled compilation of Team Ninja's first sum of two units 3D fighting games, has been postpon worldwide until late summer Tecmo announced today. The game was originally awaited for release in North America, Europe and Japan a certain quantity of time this month.


"We are devot to creating the best online fighting game possible for our fans," explained Team Ninja head Tomonobu Itagaki. "We appreciate our fans' cooperation and understanding with the novel release date for Dead or Alive Ultimate and guarantee that they will be satisfied when the game approachs out late this summer with fresh features and increased size."


Importers looking forward to their Kasumi-chan sky-colored limited-edition Xbox consoles (and accompanying life-size Kasumi pillows) will also have to wait until the summer -- Microsoft has delayed that promotion along with the game.


The delay of course provides Tecmo with more time to build interest in the game, for a like reason we'll have more on Dead or Alive Ultimate as it arises.
