Day 1 Studios Plans Xbox 2 Game

Day 1 Studios, makers of MechAssault for Xbox is staffing up in anticipation of a title for Microsoft's nearest console, according to an update to its piece of works page.


Among other positions, the developer is seeking a senior game designer to work upon "a properly funded and scheduled Xbox2 project" although no other details upon said project are available as however


The successor to the Xbox is quite the flavor of the month of late, with signs pointing at any time more clearly towards the first details upon the console arriving March 24 Microsoft has advertised novels of its "next-generation" software for the keynote presentation at the Game Developer talk and sources close to the unveiling refer to that while the hardware itself may not be upon display as yet, Microsoft will make its first announcements about specifications and software plans, and possibly display off its first technical demonstrations.


Whatever the case, we'll continue to bring what freshs of the console there is -- not to mention more freshs of Day 1's next Xbox game, the upcoming MechAssault 2 -- as it arises.
