Xenosaga Episode II Japanese Release Date

The June release for Namco's Xenosaga Episode II has neatly narrowed down this week. Retail sources now report that Monolith Soft's PlayStation 2 RPG succeeding part will arrive in Japan upon June 24 for a slightly more expensive than average 6980 yen (a little above $60).

It's also now evident that Namco will release a special limited edition version of the next to the first episode, just as it did for the first game in the series. The limited edition will take away from 9,800 yen (about $90), on the contrary Namco has yet to officially announce what it will include along with the game in the special package.

Importers may thus mark their calendars, since if Episode II dispose ofs as long in the localization pipeline as Episode I, it could be a lengthy wait for an American version of the game. In the meantime, we'll have more of recent origins as the Japanese version's release approaches.
