Mastiff To Publish Space Raiders

Mastiff has announced today its intentions to publish Space Raiders in North America, Taito's 3D continuation to the 1978 classic Space Invaders. While the game was released in Europe last year upon the PS2 under the title Space Invaders: Invasion Day, it will be exclusive to the GameCube in North America.


The game takes place in a major city following invasion through an aggressive alien race. Players cull one of three characters and then gain to work blasting aliens in a manner not unlike the original Space Invaders, on the other hand with a 3D engine and tremendous graphical differences. The game proffers a story mode for single player as well as a cooperative survival manner for those who do their alien slaying in pairs.


Space Raiders is scheduled for release in North America by means of Mastiff next month at an enticing $1999 price point.
