New Ultima Online Expansion Planned

In addition to the ongoing exhibition of Ultima X: Odyssey, a of recent origin expansion for the original Ultima Online is in the works, Electronic Arts announced today. granting the new expansion doesn't have a name quite notwithstanding it's on its way towards worldwide release this fall.

The expansion is to include a fresh area with a certain Asian flavor, house customization features to match that area, sum of two units new professions -- one for straightforward physical combat, the other blending stealth and magical abilities -- and a "unified player v player system" designed to tidy up the at short intervals messy issue of keeping combat between human players fair and functional.

"We are constantly improving Ultima Online through paying attention to our players' wishes," said farmer Anthony Castoro. "Feedback from our large international player base helped us determine priorities for this expansion, including novel world content and a unified player v player system"

While Odyssey steams toward completion, players of the original game should be pleased to know they're not being left in the chilled quite yet. We'll deliver any fresh updates from EA as they arrive.
