CDV Details Blitzkrieg Expansion

After outlining its general plans for expanding its 3D World War II strategy game Blitzkrieg, CDV Software today announced the filled details of Blitzkrieg: Burning Horizon, the first of sum of two units planned expansions leading into a sequel's release nearest year. Burning Horizon includes more than sum of two units dozen new single-player missions, as well as more units for multiplayer and skirmish battles.


Burning Horizon's single-player game breaks up into sum of two units parts. There's an 18-mission campaign place around Irwin Rommel's battles in North Africa and Italy, plus eight stand-alone missions put in various theaters of the war, including the Pacific. To match the fresh missions, the expansion includes 50 fresh units tailored to new locations and forces, including the U Marines, the Japanese, and Rommel's Afrika Korps.


Burning Horizon is owed for release in Europe in the next to the first quarter, with a worldwide release to be announced. More details are available at CDV's website.
