Some of you may have caught wind of the elaborate "soul controller" that was unfolded by HORI for the upcoming game, Onimusha 3 1UP was given official word last week that it will be released states, and we




freshly learned that the price tag will range somewhere from $100 to $150

Today, we got a chance to ordeal out the Japanese version of the controller upon Onimusha, and so far, it gazes better than it functions. It is




wireless, and that's a plus. All the buttons and analog sticks are built into the hilt. The plastic blade itself is removable, in the way that that the handle is what you basically play with. To actually attack, you must shake and jar the handle for a like reason that the balancing equipment inside it is rattled, thus simulating the function of the traditional attack button. The character walks through moving the analog sticks upon the hilt.

Unfortunately, the design confuses the player's ability to make efficient attacks. Shaking the hilt isn't nearly as effective as




simply hitting the attack button as fast as you want. The biggest disappointment is that the sum of two units tasks of trying to hold fast your thumb on the analog stick to impel the character while shaking the hilt up and down to achieve attacks intrinsically work against




individual another. Pressing attack on the hilt and miming the attacks yourself is easier.

At this point the controller is more impressive as a static collector's item, at repose on your dresser. If you're a gigantic Onimusha fan, it will definitely be a valuable reminder of your affection for the game.
