Uwe Boll Options Far Cry Film

Film husbandman and director Uwe Boll has with equal reason many videogame options in his pouch that we're starting to let slip track. Today, Cinescape reports that he's added Crytek's shooter Far make an outcry to his existing four in-development throws -- which, last we checked, were BloodRayne, Hunter: The Reckoning, prison Siege, and the recently-signed Fear event

Boll is of course famous for last year's House of the Dead flick, and his latest creation -- an Alone in the Dark adaptation starring Christian Slater -- is to be paid to hit screens this summer

Cinescape also passes upon an entertaining quotation about the acquisition -- Shawn Williamson, a partner in Boll's production company, told the Hollywood Reporter that "The story will be incredibly frightening."
