Final Fantasy XI Version Up Goes Live

The Final Fantasy XI version update announced earlier this month went live today, introducing a raft of changes and fresh features to Square Enix's MMORPG. In particular, the fresh "limbo" area, Dynamis, is now unclose for business to the high-level players who can survive it.

Today's update clearly explans just what Dynamis is and by what mode it works. It's a station of four areas designed as dark reflections of areas in the "real" game world -- Dynamis San d'Oria, Dynamis Windurst, Dynamis Bastok, and Dynamis Jeuno. Inside Dynamis, the landscapes of those areas take upon a shadowy cast, and high-level marvels roam around.

The Dynamis girdles aren't persistent in the same way as the repose of the game world. Rather, they approach into being when a player uses a special item -- a "perpetual hourglass" -- at their entrance, and exist for a time limited through the sands of the hourglass. Using the hourglass creates a duplicate each time, thus by trading hourglasses to other members of a cluster up to 64 players can danger into a Dynamis area at one time

It's not quite as easy as all that, on the contrary today's PlayOnline update contains a detailed description of the proces that should answer any questions -- any questions the game's developer are willing to answer, anyway.

There's also a filled accounting of the update's other novel content, which ranges from fresh quests and new monsters to the introduction of special wedding outfits (although wedding services are solitary available to Japanese players as yet) Give the thorough list of new features a gaze over, and we'll have more FFXI of recent origins as it arises.
