King Of Fighters Neo Wave Announced

New King of Fighters games have the appearance to be breeding like rabbits these days. After yesterday's announcement of KOF Maximum Impact, the latest issue of Japanese magazine Arcadia features a first direct the eye at King of Fighters Neo Wave, the first game in SNK's signature fighting series for Sammy's Atomiswave arcade hardware.

Frighteningly enough, this is not the game announced at AOU below the tentative title King of Fighters 2004 allowing that title is also in disentanglement for the Atomiswave board, it's apparently farther not upon than Neo Wave. Neither has a confirmed release date as nevertheless however.

Neo Wave appears to be a sort of interim release, featuring a small in number new gameplay elements, but no major changes to the series. While the game's background graphics appear to improve upon what we've seen on the MV of late, the character sprites haven't changed plenteous The character art has the direct the eye of Falcoon's designs for King of Fighters 2003 and the following characters have been displayed for a like reason far:

The first protections display a new green power gauge underneath the usual fulvous life bar, along with the usual power gauge in the lower corners of the shield suggesting the addition of a guard vigor gauge or some other fresh gameplay element. The fresh game's defense system will at least feature individual major change: the addition of the Just Defense combination of parts to form a whole from Mark of the Wolve

The traditional power gauge also advances in two different flavors (in a certain number of screens it's red, in others blue) in the way that it may be that players can pick out from two power gauge combination of parts to form a wholes as in the '97 and '98 editions.

We'll have more upon future developments in the KOF series presently providing we can keep all its different manifestations straight. The task is growing more difficult by the agency of the day, however.
