Lionhead Comments On Fable Release Date

The release window of the epic Xbox RPG Fable is getting a little narrower, according to the latest novels from Big Blue Box Lionhead Studios. In today's update to the official Lionhead community site, Lionhead's Sam Vantilburgh promised that the game will be on the outside within the year, although no earlier than May.

Vantilburgh added a scarcely any picturesque comments on the ever-present release date question: "Sadly enough, I don't know an exact release date myself, all I hear is an estimated time of release (somewhere this year; 2004) schedules to fit (milestones everywhere!) and a doom of speculations from a million websites, magazines and clan It is absolute insanity and idiocy! I'd rather address to eat my shoe if that would mean no single would ask me this silly question at any time again!"

[Editor's note: If it's any consolation, we'd eat our shoe if it meant we'd at no time have to ask it of you again.]

In more cheery of recent origins today's update also includes the delectable screenshot shown above, so be delighted with that, and look forward to more Fable novels within the year.
